Terms & Conditions
This rolling agreement is made between the parent/guardian of each student and Performers UK (PUK) and remains valid for as long as the student is enrolled with Performers UK.
By enrolling your child with Performers UK, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Introduction
These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which Performers UK provides classes, training, events, products and other services to students and their families.
By booking or purchasing a product or service from Performers UK, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to familiarise themselves with the Terms & Conditions before completing a booking or purchase.
Performers UK reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions where reasonably necessary. The current version will be published on our website.
Bookings & Fees
All fees are payable in advance.
New students may be required to pay a non-refundable trial-session fee before attending their trial. Details will be provided at the time of booking.
Performers UK operates on a rolling monthly membership basis.
Monthly membership provides access to scheduled training for 50 weeks of the year while fees are calculated on the cost of 48 weeks of training.
This takes into account our compulsory two-week closure over Christmas, together with an allowance equivalent to a further two weeks for holidays or student absences throughout the year.
Classes continue as scheduled regardless of individual student attendance. No refunds, credits or reductions in fees will be provided for classes missed due to holidays, illness or other personal circumstances.
Membership Benefits
As part of their membership, Performers UK students are entitled to access additional classes during our designated holiday programmes.
These currently include:
2 weeks during the October holidays
2 weeks during the Easter holidays
6 weeks during the summer holidays
During these designated periods, eligible members may attend unlimited included classes, subject to the timetable, age requirements, class capacity and availability.
Performers UK may also offer additional membership benefits throughout the year, including guest-teacher sessions and themed fun days, which may be provided to members at no additional charge.
Members also currently receive a 10% discount on Performers UK parties.
Membership benefits may be amended, replaced or withdrawn from time to time and individual activities remain subject to availability, appropriate age groups and capacity.
Christmas parties, movie nights and other separately advertised events are not included within monthly membership unless expressly stated otherwise and may carry an additional charge.
Sibling Discount
A 20% sibling discount is available to eligible main-school students attending Junior or Senior Performers.
Private or one-to-one tuition is not included within regular membership fees and will incur a separate charge.
How Monthly Payments Work
Fees are calculated according to the applicable class rate and are based on payment for 48 weeks of training per year.
The annual cost is divided into 12 equal monthly payments. This means monthly fees remain payable throughout the year, including during the compulsory Christmas closure.
Cancelling Membership
Membership continues on a rolling basis until Performers UK receives notice that a student wishes to leave.
A minimum of four weeks’ written notice is required to cancel membership.

All fees falling within the four-week notice period remain payable in full.
Once notice has been given, membership benefits cease for the duration of the notice period. This includes access to unlimited holiday classes and any other additional classes, workshops or activities provided as a benefit of membership.
Students may still attend their normal paid class or classes during their notice period. Any additional classes or activities attended during this period will be charged separately at the applicable pay-as-you-go rate.
Failure to pay outstanding membership fees following a reminder may result in the student’s place being withdrawn. Any future return to classes will be subject to availability and at the discretion of Performers UK.
Payment of the student’s first monthly membership fee confirms acceptance of the rolling membership and these Terms & Conditions.
Cancellations & Changes
Occasionally, Performers UK may need to cancel, reschedule, relocate or otherwise alter a class or event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where possible, Performers UK will endeavour to provide a suitable alternative session or arrangement.
Where Performers UK cancels a paid class or event and is unable to provide a reasonable alternative, an appropriate refund or credit will be provided.
Where a reasonable alternative has been offered, a refund will not normally be provided.
Refunds or credits will not be provided where a student chooses not to attend a scheduled class, replacement session or event.
Uniform
Students attending Performers UK classes may be required to wear the appropriate PUK uniform for their class.
Students must also attend in clothing suitable for the activity and with appropriate indoor footwear where required.
Specific uniform or footwear requirements may apply to certain disciplines, including ballet. Parents should contact the Performers UK team if they are unsure of the requirements for their child’s class.
Photography & Video
Performers UK regularly photographs and films classes, rehearsals, performances and events for promotional and educational purposes.
Images and video may be used on our website, social-media channels and other Performers UK publicity materials where the appropriate consent has been provided.
Parents/guardians can advise Performers UK if their child must not appear in photography or video.
Where a child must be excluded from publicity for safeguarding or child-protection reasons, this should be communicated to Performers UK in writing at:
Performers UK will take reasonable steps to ensure that these requirements are communicated to the relevant members of staff.
Participation & Additional Support
Performers UK recognises that every child is different and aims to provide an inclusive and supportive environment.
Where a student has additional needs or requires additional support, participation will be considered on an individual basis, taking into account the student’s needs, the nature of the class and the level of support reasonably available within the class setting.
Performers UK is not ordinarily able to provide dedicated one-to-one support to an individual student during group classes.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to discuss any additional needs, medical information or reasonable adjustments with us before enrolment or as soon as circumstances change.
Classes specifically advertised as parent-and-child sessions require the parent/guardian to participate as directed.
Health, Safety & Injuries
Dance, gymnastics, tricks, tumbling and other performing-arts activities involve physical activity and therefore carry an inherent risk of injury.
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that Performers UK is informed of any relevant medical condition, injury or other circumstance that may affect a student’s ability to participate safely.
Students must follow reasonable safety instructions given by Performers UK staff and must use equipment only as instructed.
Performers UK will take reasonable steps to provide a safe training environment and appropriately supervised activities.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
General
Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring that the contact and emergency information held by Performers UK is accurate and kept up to date.
Performers UK reserves the right to make reasonable changes to classes, teachers, timetables and venues where operationally necessary.
Continued enrolment with Performers UK constitutes acceptance of the current Terms & Conditions.
